Concrete done right is invisible — it just works, year after year, without becoming a problem. Our crews handle slabs, pads, patios, and foundations with the prep work that actually makes the difference: proper base, correct mix, and clean finishing. The surface holds up because the work underneath it was done correctly the first time.
Key Benefits of Service
The single largest factor in the cost of concrete work is the total square footage and the thickness required for its purpose. A standard patio slab costs less than a structural pad rated to support equipment or a foundation. If your project spans multiple pours — a patio now, a shed pad later — ask about scheduling them together to save on setup and delivery costs.
- Compacted gravel base sized to the slab’s intended load
- Correct concrete mix and thickness for the specific use
- Rebar or wire mesh reinforcement where structurally needed
- Control joints placed to manage cracking before it starts
- Surface graded to direct water away from structures

Maintenance Tips
Most concrete failures trace back to inadequate base compaction, not the concrete itself. We compact and test the base before a single truck arrives, which is the real reason a slab lasts decades instead of years.
Decorative and exposed aggregate finishes benefit from a sealer reapplied every year to protect color and texture. Standard broom-finished slabs can go longer between sealing, typically every 2–3 years.
Concrete reaches walking strength in a few days but needs about 28 days to reach full structural strength. Heavy equipment, hot tubs, or vehicles should wait for that full cure window whenever possible.

Belmar, NJSlabs & Foundation Pricing
Most concrete work is priced by square foot, with thickness and intended load as the biggest drivers of cost — standard patio slabs sit at the lower end, structural pads and foundations at the higher end. Reinforcement, decorative finishes, and demolition of existing concrete add to the estimate. Every quote is itemized and explained in person before you sign anything, so there are no surprises once the crew shows up.
